A message from Sarah Fichtman, Owner and Founder of Bisou Weddings & Events:

I dove head first into event planning while living in New York City. From private weddings in the Hamptons, to larger than life fashion events in Manhattan, there was no doubt that I had found my calling in this industry. When our family moved upstate after we started our family, I launched Bisou Weddings and Events in one of the busiest wedding areas in the state, and have never looked back. I am thankful everyday to be doing something I love with my entire being. I put my heart and soul into each and every event.

At Bisou, we work hard, laugh often, and our infectious spirit always brings a ray of sunshine into every meeting, into every relationship, and ultimately into all of our events.

I am dedicated to making your wedding as unique as you, as fabulous as you, and so seamlessly executed, it will feel like a dream!

Maria- Senior Planner

Going into my fifth wedding season with Bisou, and I have fallen more and more in love with my role as a wedding planner. Ensuring that our couples’ are happy on their special day not only fills me with joy, but is also my number one priority. At 4’11” I am known on our team as “small but mighty” and I will make sure your wedding day goes off without a hitch. I love every aspect of the wedding day from set up to cake cutting. I especially love hearing our couples’ unique vows and readings during the ceremony.

When I’m not working at Bisou you can find me running my own business as a Health Coach, teaching group fitness, or spending time with my family and friends.

Anna Waterhouse- Senior Planner

Currently a senior media/communications major at Muhlenberg College, I have found a career that I love and that never feels like work with Bisou Weddings and Events.  When I’m not making itineraries (which is a true passion of mine) you can find me at the boxing gym, looking for silver linings, or supporting college improv! I’ve always been an enthusiastic planner and gifted time manager, from whipping up the best spirit day lip synch routine my high school has ever seen to planning my own June 2019 wedding!

My passion for working with people began in the theatre community as a stage manager, where I found joy knowing that my attention to detail greatly helped others achieve their goals.  I want to make other people’s lives easier, whether that means spending countless hours pouring over a wedding day timeline or simply having a Disney bandaid on hand for anyone who needs it.  Wedding and event planning is a way for me to help make others’ dreams a reality!  I’ve always known that whatever I do in life, all I want is to make people happy.  And what’s happier than a wedding?!"

Andrea Wilke- Senior Planner

I am a certified Wedding and Event Planner through Lovegevity University. When I discovered my passion for weddings, I knew I had found my true calling in life. I am so proud to be a part of the Bisou team and help couples have the time of their lives on one of the biggest days of their lives!

One of my favorite things about being an event planner is accepting the challenge of blending two personalities into one big event. Those little personal touches may mean the world to someone and it puts a smile on my face when the couple is thrilled with the outcome.

In my spare time, you will not find me sitting still. Check the mountains for boot prints or the rivers for a kayak. I love the outdoors and exploring. I also love traveling the world and learning about all of its different cultures. I never want to stop learning!
