Guest Books to Warm The Soul

Your guest book is a perfect opportunity to step out of the norm and create a meaningful memory that you can enjoy for years after your wedding day. If you are open to the idea of doing something other than the traditional guest book, think of ways you can incorporate your finished "guest book" into your home décor. I always find this to be the most personal and truly cherished type of book. For the world travelers, a signed globe is a perfect fit, and the best part is that it can be easily displayed in a home office or living room. Another one of my favorites is a signed Adirondack chair that can work beautifully for those who have a deck and/or front porch. You can always create a display of decorative plates that your guests sign, and once the honeymooning is over and you are settled into married life, find the perfect nook in your home and hang the plates on the wall. Finally, you can never go wrong with laying out swatches of fabric for your guests to sign. Have a quilt made from the swatches, and you will have a throw blanket that will last you for years to come.
