A message from Sarah Fichtman, Owner and Founder of Bisou Weddings & Events:
I dove head first into event planning while living in New York City. From private weddings in the Hamptons, to larger than life fashion events in Manhattan, there was no doubt that I had found my calling in this industry. When our family moved upstate after we started our family, I launched Bisou Weddings and Events in one of the busiest wedding areas in the state, and have never looked back. I am thankful everyday to be doing something I love with my entire being. I put my heart and soul into each and every event.
At Bisou, we work hard, laugh often, and our infectious spirit always brings a ray of sunshine into every meeting, into every relationship, and ultimately into all of our events.
I am dedicated to making your wedding as unique as you, as fabulous as you, and so seamlessly executed, it will feel like a dream!
Maria Savino- Lead Planner
Going into my seventh wedding season with Bisou, and I have fallen more and more in love with my role as a wedding planner. Ensuring that our couples’ are happy on their special day not only fills me with joy, but is also my number one priority. At 4’11” I am known on our team as “small but mighty” and I will make sure your wedding day goes off without a hitch. I love every aspect of the wedding day from set up to cake cutting. I especially love hearing our couples’ unique vows and readings during the ceremony.
When I’m not working at Bisou you can find me running my own business as a Health Coach, teaching group fitness, or spending time with my family and friends.
Anna Gilbert- Lead Planner
After connecting with Sarah back in 2017, I knew I had found something amazing with Bisou Events. Over the course of that first wedding season, I discovered just how much fun wedding planning is! As a professional silver lining finder, I truly enjoy helping couples problem solve and execute their perfect day.
When I’m not thinking quick on my feet, you can usually find me at the dog park with my beloved fur child, exploring high peaks and breweries with my husband, or being the hostess with the mostest when it comes to planning game nights for friends and families. I am so excited to help make your wedding day the best day ever!
Jeana Labas- Lead Planner
This is my third season with Bisou, and I am excited to meet all of our amazing couples this year! I have always had a passion for planning and organization. I want to ensure that your wedding is one of the best days of your life and that you are able to enjoy your day and make memories that will last forever. I love the genuine looks on everyone's face during the ceremony and the first dance. There is something about holding each other during your favorite song while your closest love ones watch that gets me every time!
Outside of wedding planning my full-time job is helping people build their dream home as an Office Manager for a local construction company. For fun, I enjoy hosting friend and family gatherings and spending time with my husband.
Lauren Murawski- Assistant Planner
As they always say, “everything happens for a reason.” That’s the motto that comes to my mind when I think back to how I landed my position at Bisou Events. I was fortunate to meet Sarah a couple of years ago, and was ecstatic to join the team when she informed me that she was looking for an Assistant Planner. I spent previous years working for a bridal store and I had always wanted to shift from the fashion side of weddings to be a part of the wedding day itself. I love connecting with the couple and their families on one of the most important days of their lives and making sure that everything goes exactly how they had always dreamed.
Outside of event planning, I enjoy practicing yoga, getting in my daily sunset runs, and cooking up some tasty gluten-free dishes. If I am not in Upstate, NY you can always find me roaming the streets of NYC and enjoying everything the city has to offer. I am excited to be a part of the Bisou Team and make sure your special day is one that you won’t forget.
Haley Flint- Assistant Planner
I am so excited to be working as an Assistant Planner with Bisou Events this season! I previously worked at a private country club where I gained valuable skills and hands on experience with the operations and coordination of large scale weddings and events. I’m committed to ensuring our couples special days go as smoothly and seamlessly as possible and am so excited for this opportunity!
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, working out, adventuring to new places, reading and shopping.
